Vicky Kaushal starrer URI: The Surgical Strike will re-release on Republic day 2021
Since the theatres are open after a long time, actor Vicky Kaushal’s 2019 super-hit film, URI: The Surgical Strike is all set to re-release in the cinemas in Republic Day 2021. The news was announced by a trade analyst who took to Twitter about the new development. The film directed by Aditya Dhar was first released in January 2019, and since it is a patriotic film, the makers have decided to evoke the sense of patriotism among everyone on this day.
Sharing the tweet, the trade analyst wrote, “#URI BACK IN CINEMAS... #UriTheSurgicalStrike - which won hearts and emerged the audience as well as #BO-favourite in 2019 - is back in cinemas tomorrow [#RepublicDay]. #HowsTheJosh #Uri” The film will release in theatres across 29 cities including Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Noida, Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Indore, among other places. Uri: The Surgical Strike also won the National Awards in 2019 for background music, for sound design, and then for best director. Vicky Kaushal even won the best actor.
On Army day, Vicky Kaushal shared a video of himself with army officers where he was seen firing riffles. He wrote, “Remember being at alt. of 16,000ft at the Indo-China border of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. A member of my team was rushed to a lower altitude since he was finding it difficult to even breathe.
